Step 1: Create Your Account
Getting started with RoUtilities is completely free and takes less than a minute.
1.1 Sign Up
- Click the "Sign Up" button on the homepage or navigate to routilities.com/register
- Enter your email address and create a strong password
- Verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email
- Complete your profile by adding your Roblox username

Use the same email address you use for your Roblox account to make account recovery easier if needed.
Step 2: Connect Your Roblox Group
Before you can use RoUtilities features, you need to connect your Roblox group to your account.
2.1 Verify Group Ownership
- Log in to your RoUtilities dashboard
- Click "Add Group" or "Connect Group" in the dashboard
- Enter your Roblox group ID (found in your group's URL)
- Verify that you're the group owner or have appropriate permissions
- Authorize RoUtilities to access your group
Important
You must be the owner of the Roblox group or have been granted appropriate permissions by the owner. If you're not the owner, ask the group owner to connect the group or grant you access.
Step 3: Set Up Your First Application Center
Application centers are one of the most popular features. Let's set one up now.
3.1 Create Application Center
- In your dashboard, navigate to your connected group
- Click on "Applications" in the products section
- Click "Create New Application Center"
- Give your center a name (e.g., "Staff Applications" or "Builder Applications")
- Choose a category or position this center is for
3.2 Add Application Questions
- Click "Add Question" in your new application center
- Choose a question type:
- Short Answer: For brief responses (name, age, etc.)
- Long Answer: For detailed responses (why do you want this position, etc.)
- Multiple Choice: For selecting from predefined options
- Enter your question text
- Mark questions as required if applicants must answer them
- Add more questions as needed (we recommend 5-10 questions)

- Click "Customize" or "Design" in your application center
- Choose a color scheme that matches your group's branding
- Add a custom header or logo if desired
- Preview your center to see how it looks
- Click "Publish" when you're ready

Once your center is published, you'll get a unique URL to share with applicants.
4.1 Get Your Center URL
- In your application center dashboard, find the "Center URL" section
- Copy the unique URL (it will look like: routilities.com/groups/[your-group-id]/applications/[center-id])
- Share this URL with potential applicants through:
- Your Roblox group description
- Discord announcements
- Social media posts
- In-game announcements
Step 5: Review Applications
As applicants submit applications, you'll be able to review them in your dashboard.
5.1 Review Process
- Navigate to your application center dashboard
- Click "Applications" to see all submitted applications
- Click on an application to view full details
- Review the applicant's responses and Roblox profile
- Make a decision:
- Accept: Approve the application and optionally send a message
- Deny: Reject the application with optional feedback
