Discord Bot
Free shared bot, or Discord Bot Premium ($4.99/mo) for the full command set on that bot. Custom name and icon need your own token.
Free vs Premium
| Free | Discord Bot Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Bot | Shared RoUtilities bot | Shared bot, or your own hosted token |
| Commands | /setup, /help, /invite, /setrank | All ranking, verify, apps, activity, tickets, custom commands |
| Ranking | 20 successful ranks per server per day | Unlimited, no token charge |
| Servers | One Discord per Roblox group | Multiple servers — pick which one you are editing |
| Tickets | — | Panels, private channels, claim/close/reopen, transcripts, ratings |
| Command builder | — | Autoresponders and custom slash commands with embeds |
This is a separate subscription from RoUtilities Premium. Ranking in Discord does not consume tokens. There is no product max-rank cap — the linked Roblox bot must simply outrank the target, and guest/owner ranks stay blocked by Roblox.
Link a group
- Connect a Roblox ranking bot to the group.
- Open the group Discord Bot page and invite the bot, or generate a setup code and run
/setup code:XXXX. - Or invite the bot first, run
/setupwith no code, then finish at/discord/setup. - Turn on ranking commands and save who can rank (Administrators and/or role IDs).
Verify
Premium. Members run /verify method:phrase, /verify method:oauth, or /verify method:game (Account Verification Centre). Then /whois, /update, and /unlink.
Custom bot
Premium features run on the shared RoUtilities bot. Discord does not let you change that bot's name or icon. A custom token is optional if you want your own identity.
- Subscribe to Discord Bot Premium.
- In the Discord Developer Portal, create an application, add a bot, copy the token.
- Enable Server Members Intent (join welcome, join-gate, bulk role sync) and Message Content Intent (autoresponders). The bot still starts without them — slash commands, tickets, ranking, and notifications keep working.
- Paste the token on the Discord Bot page. We host it.
- Optionally rename built-in slash commands under Custom bot, then save branding (the bot restarts and re-registers names).
- Invite your bot, then kick the shared RoUtilities bot so slash commands are not duplicated.
Multiple servers
Premium groups can link more than one Discord. Use the server dropdown on the Discord Bot page — ranking, tickets, and custom commands apply to the selected server. Unlink removes only that server.
Tickets
Premium. Create a panel (title, description, channel ID, transcript log channel) and up to 10 categories (label, emoji, staff role, Discord category ID, opening message). Save, then Post / update panel. Members click a button to open a private #ticket-username-id channel. Staff can Claim, Close, or Reopen, or use /ticket claim|close|reopen (close accepts an optional reason).
- One open ticket per member per category. Up to 5 panels per server. Enable Developer Mode in Discord to copy channel and role IDs.
- Close locks the channel (it is not deleted), saves a transcript, posts a
.txtfile to the log channel, DMs a copy to the opener if their DMs are open, and asks them to rate 1–5. - The Discord Bot page lists open tickets for the selected server. Close those before deleting a panel — the panel embed is removed from Discord.
- The bot needs Manage Channels, Manage Roles, Read Message History, Attach Files, and Mention Everyone (included on the invite).
Autoresponders
Premium. Match a message with contains or exact (case-insensitive) and reply with text and/or an embed. Exact matches win over contains; longer contains triggers win over shorter ones. Empty allowed roles means everyone. 5 second cooldown per user. Up to 50 per server. Turn a responder off without deleting it. Needs Message Content Intent in the Developer Portal. The bot still runs without it; autoresponders stay off until you enable the intent.
Custom slash commands
Premium. Built only for the selected server (they never appear in other customers' servers). Name, description, optional string/user/role options, who can run it, and an embed editor. Interpolate {user}, {server}, and {optionName}. Names cannot collide with a built-in command (including renamed ones). Up to 25 per server. After you save, Discord can take up to a minute to show the command. Disable a command to remove it from that server without deleting the configuration.
